Synopsis
What began in 1973 with a small wooden stage in a Colorado canyon is now the premiere bluegrass gathering in the world. This film follows established artists as they rise to new heights and find kismet collaborations they couldn’t find anywhere else, while new artists transform and expand modern bluegrass.
It’s a backstage pass to a moment of time, one of the many stories that could be told of this festival. No knowledge of bluegrass is required. The film’s universal themes, compelling characters, and bursts of musical delight make the film relatable to anyone with ears and a heart.
